Try Sunday morning yoga classes with local yoga teacher, Janie Walker from BeCalmed Studio. She will guide you through different shapes. Janie specialises in introducing people to yoga and supporting a life-long practice and love of yoga.

What is yoga?
Yoga is breathing deeply, letting go of anxious thoughts, being kind, stretching the body to reduce tension, being more flexible, focusing and being mindful, and moving into different shapes.

How will I feel after my Sunday Kai Tahi yoga class?

What kind of yoga will I be doing?
A mix of vinyasa, hatha, restorative and mindfulness.
Who is the yoga teacher?
Janie Walker is a trained and experienced vinyasa, restorative and yin yoga teacher. She weaves ancient yoga philosophy and breath work with easy poses. Her classes are for beginners and those who want to deepen their own practice. Janie focuses on relaxation, breath and relaxing the mind.
How much does it cost?
$ 10 per class (cash or internet banking)
Do I need to book?
No bookings necessary. Just turn up. Yoga mats provided or bring your own.
Can I do yoga if I am injured or recovering from illness or don’t feel good?
